Carly, Editor & Founder of The Disney Wedding Blog, found her Prince Charming while working at Walt Disney World on the College Program.  Both lifelong Disney fans, Carly & Kyle, got married at Walt Disney World on a $20,000 budget.  Carly discusses their destination wedding planning experience and highlights her best tips and advice when planning an amazing yet affordable Disney wedding.

Carly tells us there is a perception that Disney weddings are plastic and cookie-cutter, Mickey Mouse events, but that couldn't be farther from the truth.  The Disney Wedding Blog is the unofficial center for all things Disney weddings. The site is an inspiration and information resource for couples planning a wedding, proposal, honeymoon, or vow renewal at any of the Disney theme parks or resort areas.  It is a fan blog for all types of Disney Weddings and is not affiliated with Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons or The Walt Disney Company in any way.  Carly is dedicated to making the journey to a Disney wedding a lot easier.

Carly shares her resources including online Disney forums, her photographers and Disney-area vendors, and where she found her beautiful $250 wedding dress.  She talks about her extraordinary honeymoon five months before her wedding as a planning and celebration trip and what her guests will remember the most. We will hear about the most unexpected part of their celebration and what she would have done differently.  Carly had high expectations and Disney delivered the fairy tale wedding she always dreamed about.

You may recognize our featured newlyweds as the red team from reality television.  Nicole Brewer and Damien Gurganious, contestants on season 7 “The Biggest Loser: Couples”,  enthusiastically share how they met at a water aerobics class at the Y, the two day proposal story, and their wedding planning and weight loss experience. Together they lost more than 250 pounds combined and could not be happier inside and out.

Nicole, a wardrobe stylist and group fitness instructor and Damien, an industrial designer, are creative, ambitious professionals devoted to each other and focused on an active and exciting life.  They talk about what they learned from being on “The Biggest Loser” ranch and how thrilling it is to finally fit into clothes they always wanted to wear, especially walking down the aisle in a figure-flattering strapless Amsale Christos “Eva” gown and Calvin Klein tuxedo.  Red is Nicole’s favorite color so it was only fitting to dress her bridesmaids in a fashionable apple red gown from David’s Bridal.  They may be watching calories but they splurged on a delicious wedding cake called "Biggest Loser's Praline Bliss".

You will find out what Nicole and Damien would have done differently, what was most memorable, and their best advice for couples getting married.  This New York summer wedding was a collaborative effort that had everything a couple would want for a celebration...especially love.
