Bridal Scene Show #17 with hosts Holli Ehrlich and Robert Allen. Special Edition: Bridal Market Spring 2007 NYC Part 1 This special episode of Bridal Scene takes us to Bridal Market in New  York City.  This is where the top wedding gown designers come to showcase and introduce their newest designs.  This is your chance to hear the personal inspiration of the looks and styles for Spring 2007.  From classic elegance to fashion forward creations, your dream wedding dress awaits!

Join us as we attend and report live on nearly 20 runway shows with some of the hottest, most noted gown designers.  First stop the Adele Wechsler Fashion Show.  We go backstage to speak with Adele.  The Adele Wechsler name has often been linked to the ever popular Destination Wedding.

We continue our coverage at the Wedding Channel Couture Show located in the Waldorf Astoria and feature Paula Varsalona, Alfred Angelo and some fabulous shoes by Blue Tux Shoes.

One of the most fun runway shows was the Michelle Roth and Henry Roth show.  WPN Style Correspondent, Jessica Liebeskind, goes behind the scenes to interview the head makeup artist, Lea Siegel, for Roth Runway.  Hear from the one and only Henry Roth right after the show.  "Brides want a gown that is cool just like her groom!  Down the aisle or on the dance floor brides are always ready for their close up."

Then it is back across the street to St.Bartholemew's Church for the Watters show.  We have access to go backstage to grab an interview with the designer, Vatana Watters.  Congratulations on 20 years of modern and imaginative design.

The last stop of day one at Bridal Market takes us to the private showroom suite of Romona Keveza for an intimate showing of her Spring 2007 couture collection.  She offers timeless bridal silhouettes in luxurious fabrics.  Romona is charming.  The interview is informative and genuine.

Robert Allen speaks with Craig Michaels, a happily married man and the author of Thirty to Wife, a "What to Expect at Your Wedding" guide for every prospective groom.  Craig is also the creator of an extensive website serving as a sounding board for grooms-to-be.  Craig advises grooms starting the process:  support your bride, really listen and step up every now and then and you will be appreciated for it.  Learn what to do and what NOT to do.

Hear how brides can get their groom involved through technology whether using the Internet for basic research for favors, booking travel, purchasing jewelry to creating your registry and building a wedding website.  The groom inevitably will get hooked.

Listen first hand how to best deal with the family - the inlaws and your family.  Be a good son.  Communicate.  Delegate.  Be patient.

Wedding costs are out of control.  Craig shares some great cost saving ideas without cheapening the affair.  Start early, go off the beaten path, adopt a less-is-more attitude.  Saving money will save you time and anxiety in the long run.

You're not getting away without wearing a wedding ring.  Tune in and hear Craig's Tiffany & Co. story.  Who doesn't love a little blue box?
