In this Bridal Scene we discuss our decision not to cover the baseball wedding at Keyspan Park. We talk about the idea of sponsored weddings and how wedding professionals feel about them.

Two new shows are available with separate feeds - Newlywedcast with Quint & Kim and Meet the Masters (Wedding Masters in iTunes) with Rebecca Grinnals.

Hosts, Robert & Holli, discuss solving family problems while planning a wedding and still have the wedding that you want.  Through it all, don't forget why you and your spouse are marrying.  Your love for each other and desire to make a life long commitment is the most important factor in the wedding plan.

We play a new piece of podsafe music called Tonight by Manons Dream.  Great first dance as husband and wife.

Our featured guest on the show is Lori Harris, Certified Astrologer.  Lori takes us through the Zodiac and discusses traits of each sign, especially with regard to love and relationships.  She shares with us how some cultures really depend upon the reading of astrological charts prior to marriage and in turn there is a much lower divorce rate.  Lori's services include chart analysis, tarot and numerology.   She is available for individual and group readings. This would be great fun to have at your bridal shower or wedding.

One of the hottest trends is destination weddings.  We have one of the most knowledgable experts in the business Rebecca Grinnals. Robert Allen had the opportunity recently to interview Rebecca in Orlando, Florida.

Rebecca shares with us how she was influenced as a young girl by the world of weddings.  Rebecca takes us through all of the important aspects of planning the perfect destination wedding and enlightens us with some interesting statistics.  Find out how to get the most out of using the internet to plan the details.  She discusses how the planning process differs for a wedding that takes place away from home.

We answer many of the important questions:

What are my choices for a destination wedding?  How do I maximize my budget?  How many site visits do I need?  Should I use a travel agent?  How much time do I need to plan?  How do I find the right wedding consultant?  Does my destination have to take place at a big resort?  Is renting a villa an option?  Do I need to entertain my guests?  Who is responsible for paying?  Does the honeymoon have to be at the same place as the wedding?

Rebecca Grinnals is widely regarded as one of the foremost experts on the business of Destination Weddings and Honeymoons. She is the Founder and President of wedding and honeymoon industry consulting firm, Engaging Concepts, Inc. based in Celebration, FL and the Chairman of the Caribbean Wedding Association. Rebecca is a sought after industry consultant and trend expert. She has been a featured guest on CBS The Early Show, CNN, Entertainment Tonight, "Weddings of a LIFETIME," CNBC and on Meet the Masters on The Wedding Podcast Network.

Prior to creating Engaging Concepts and the Caribbean Wedding Association, Rebecca co-founded Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons for The Walt Disney Company, and spent ten years developing the concept into an unprecedented success.

Recently Rebecca worked with renowned wedding planner, Marcy Blum on Billy Joel's wedding at his Long Island estate and also with wedding design guru Preston Bailey on Donald Trump's wedding at Mar-a-lago.

Our newlyweds, Kim and Quint, share with us all of the details of their April destination wedding in Lake Tahoe, California.  Being avid skiiers they had their wedding at the Sugar Bowl Ski Resort.

They tell the very sweet story of how they met through their parents.  This poses some interesting difficulty during the wedding planning process.  Kim lets us in on the most important lesson she learned during her planning.

Listen in as Quint tells us about how he used a well known board game to propose to Kim, and the very special way he incorporated Kim's Canadian heritage into the engagement ring.

We also get a laugh when we talk about the risky activitiy that the bride and groom shared the morning of the wedding and how it changed Kim's complexion.

This Newlywedcast has very valuable information for any couple considering a destination wedding.

The Bridal Scene podcast brings you everything new and noteworthy in the world of weddings.  Hosts Holli Ehrlich and Robert Allen .

In this show we visit the Fortunoff's wedding event called "Girls Night Out".  It took place in their Woodbridge, NJ location and was very well attended.  We got to speak with the Director of Wedding & Corporate Gift Services Tracey Paige and the Coordinator Rachel Weitzman. They tell you all about the registry experience .  We also spoke with some enthusiastic brides who were at the event.  They were happy and excited to share their engagement stories and wedding plans.  One bride discusses how Ebay can be a terrific resource for wedding favors and more.

We share a wonderful song "Your Love" by Lisa Dames.  Be warned, this one might get stuck in your head.

Brides Against Breast Cancer is the Making Memories Foundation's number one fundraiser.  They have gown sale events nationwide enabling brides-to-be to find the gown of their dreams while making wishes come true for women and men diagnosed with breast cancer.  Their gown sales are made possible by women that donate their treasured wedding gowns.  Bridal shops and manufacturers donate hundreds of beautiful, new designer gowns every month.  Check out their website to find a gown sale near you.  This is a unique opportunity for brides-to-be to find one-of-a-kind gowns at an incredible savings.  Your bridal shower and wedding reception can be more meaningful with a pink envelope project activity.  Together we can make a difference in someone's life.

We will be covering a fabulous and unique wedding that will be taking place at home plate right after a Brooklyn Cyclones baseball game.  We will be bringing you interesting and entertaining interviews and clips from the ceremony.  This should be great fun for all.

We have the new feeds set up for our programs.  Look for them in the iTunes directory.  You can also click the iTunes button in the show notes to subscribe.  This will make sure that you get all of the Bridal Scene shows when they become available.
